Jack Drew Teemer III arrived on April 8th at about 4:30 pm. We were scheduled to be at the hospital at 3:30 in the morning to be induced, which we assumed would be a sure thing. After not sleeping or eating all night, I was relieved to already be 4 cm dialated! That relief didn't last long...
When the nurse realized how dialated I was, she immediately broke my water and I was hooked up to my epidural. Then we sat... and sat some more. By that afternoon I was still 4 cm dialated and the doctor decided we needed to do a c-section. I was pretty disappointed, but everything turned out great in the end! Jack weighed a healthy 8 pounds 7 ounces, and besides Jon getting violetly ill that night from hospital food, it was a great day!
